The photos of GeForce GTX 280 graphics card got exposed
We learn from itocp forum that they got the photos of GeForce GTX 280 graphics card. As you can see from the photos, the PCB of GeForce GTX 280 graphics cards is tremendous long, it comes with 1 6pin and 1 8pin power connectors.
We also heard that GeForce GTX 280 graphics card would be the last single chip design from NVIDIA. After GeForce GTX 280, NVIDIA will only bring graphics cards with double and multiple cores design.:captnkill:

I miss the days when graphics cards looked like graphics cards (like in the pic). All the coolers turn them into big plastic boxes now. :p
Last of the single core designs? Interesting development if true.
The BGA package is huge...the die must be fricking huge....
....and I have had this 8800 GTX only for 9 months!!!
Bring it awwwwwwwwwwwn!

still can't wait!
It's been sugested the GTX280/260 won't support TriSLI. If so why does that card have two SLI fingers??

I hope that means they're going multiple cores on one die, and not with multiple chips on one card, like the GX2s. Just makes the cards bigger and chunkier and draw lots of power.

Where'd you hear that?

Will my Asus Striker extreme 680i support this card in SLI.
Crysis with 4xAA and 8xAF at 1920x1200 I hope. Minimum 40fps.

That'd be nice.
I'd run it at 1600x1200 with no AA and just drool at how real it looks at 60+fps. :drooling:

Probably one of the posts in the Rumor Mill thread. It's not confirmed AFAIK though.

NVIDIA CUDA™ Technology is the world’s only C language environment that provides access to processing power of NVIDIA GPUs. It enables developers to utilize NVIDIA GPUs to solve the most complex computation-intensive challenges such as oil and gas exploration, financial risk management, product design, medical imaging, and scientific research.

Not really much to look at though.
wow this card is going to be a monster according to the preliminary specs, 512-bit memory interface :) 240 stream processors and think about the physx feature offloading physics of crysis....... = higher fps with AA :P
