Trying to figure out a way to place my consoles before the XHD3000 arrives

Tygerwoody perfected the PS3 cooling solution by placing it on top of the Wii. I don't know where you'd put that X360 though...

yes
Would like a bit more feedback. The left side of the 360 is nothing but a hard drive: there's no air intake. Same thing for the ps3.

I don't think you'll have a problem as long as you run that A/C unit whenever you play the 360. :)

Ok... set Wii on bottom horizontal, 360 on top of that vertical, then the PS3 on top of that horizontal... should work out pretty good.

I don't understand? Put both the ps3 and the 360 on top of the wii? There's not enough room. Also I can not put 360 verticly since 360 has a stupid problem of scratching dvds if it's not horizontal.

If you have no more room place 360 and ps3 vertically. Dont worry about scratches or other rumored ****.
If you will not be kicking your desk when playing everything will be working great

Thing is plasting them vertically is absolutely pointless. The 360s intake slot that is facing the ac and window will now be at the bottom negating advantages of current setup. Honestly I'm convinced that this is the best setup for me ;)

The Wii gets quite hot one one side... make sure that side is not the one touching the 360, otherwise I see nothing wrong with that setup...

why not just put them all vertical?

Just mount them all one the wall. I have all my consoles mounted to my wall. In fact all my electronics, appliances, furniture and pets are mounted all the wall. Save a lot of floor space.

Your Wii seems to be placed opposite how it should, is the fan with exhaust really facing directly down? There will be no circulation.

One of the PS3's intakes is blocked by the Wii.

The 360 radiates a fair amount of heat straight up, but in your setup it won't be able to.

Also, it's nice to be able to have more than one system on at a time, if you want to download a PS3 demo while playing a 360 game for example.

I have had mine sitting on its side for 3 years and never had a problem... it's slightly raised so that heat can vent.

Unless you meant the Wii is blocking that venting heat, but I think it being wide open on the other 3 sides is fine.
