Okay, around half an hour ago, a man knocked on my door and delivered my parcel. He couldnt load the Z-5500 speakers because he had a bad back :headexplode: and couldnt lift them.....so they will be coming another time hopefully.

What I have recieved.

Corsair 650W TX powersupply - I actually ordered the 750w one, have talked to the store, and they said, "send it back and we will send you another one". The cost of sending it back would be nearly half the price of buying another 750w :( so it looks like im stuck with this one.

2x2Gb ReaperX 4-4-4-15 800Mhz. (Do you think I could take the chance and put it down to 4-4-4-12? Also it is meant to be on 2T isnt it?
-------------------------------------

Saitek X52 Pro- Nuff said. Just need to find a few games to play now

-----------------------------------

Canon 400D with 4Gb Lexar card (only 20mb a sec :( but hey)- Havent actually opened it. Got of to a good start as it includes a 60euro voucher to claim back with Canon.

So its not much but hey.

So I have

Corsair 650W TX
E6420 @ 3.8Ghz (got a bit more out of it :D)
4Gb Reaper X 800Mhz 4-4-4
eVGA 680i
8800GTX OC2 (trying to find how to OC shaders)
X52 Pro
G25 steering wheel
2x500Gb HDDS
Antec P182se
X-Fi Extrememusic
Creative G500 (being replaced by Z-5500 :( )
HD-DVD, Blu-ray writer
Crappy keyboard and mouse.
Zalman 9700 Aero.

So all in all a schitt pc which has a few gizmos. Now, isnt it perfect that all of this is up and running 2 weeks before my most important exams

If they send you a PSU different to what you ordered, they have to have that one collected and have a new one shipped out at no cost to you.

Nice CPU OC though :D

thanks :D It seems a pretty nice chip :D

They have refused point blank to collect it. The annoying thing is that I brought of Dabs.ie . Turns out they send their stuff from England so it cost me more, and the very notion of sending it back.....

Im shuddering at the thought of my Z-5500 breaking :| I'll have to take out a loan just to send it back lol.

If your parts need returning for warrenty then yes, you would have to pay. But if they've sent you the wrong part they HAVE to swap it, or at least send you the correct one without returning the other. You haven't got what you payed for. Don't take no for an answer.

Just tell them you're gonna take them to small claims court and they'll probably just sort it out :D

meh, unfortunatly there is a different jurisdiction in Ireland, and im not in fact covered. My only reason im worrying is that I dont think that a 650w will power (when I upgrade) a 45nm Quad OC, 8Gb DDR2 1000Mhz, The new 1gb nvidia card coming out. (maybe even in SLI).

Its crippled my upgrade path :(

TBH unless you're going SLI I think it'll be fine. You sure about not being able to DEMAND the one you payed for! :p

In general 2x2GB sticks tend not to overclock all to well, 1x1GB overclock better and 512x2MB are even better. I was able to get my G.Skill PC8000 (1GHz) memory to 1066MHz which is a 66MHz overclock but not any higher but that was at stock voltage.

Meh, if a store tried to pull that crap with me I'd just have the bank\credit card company hold the charge on my account. Or if you used paypal, dispute it.

Companies will do whatever the hell they want as long as the money is in their pockets.

Thats messed up, You could shell out for a gpu psu that might help but better to take a trip the england and break some heads with the 650w

What vcore on the e6420?

Not necessarily, I have 2x2GB 800MHz OCZ Technology overclocked to 920Mhz with only a slight increase in voltage.
