IE7 And Downloads`

For some reason Ie hung it self which isn't surprising any but when i ended task on the browser, it also closed out a download which was almost done so i go back to the same link and redownload the file and it starts over instead of running where it left off.

I thought the files needed to finish the download were cached in temp so why does ot start over?

I didn't have a problem in older versions of IE with a downlaod if i accidently closed out the downloader i can go to the link and it would resume.

Some sites cannot resume downloads.. Your sessions might have expired. Cookies deleted. Many things.

Btw, if you are using IE, get IE7Pro: http://www.ie7pro.com/

It has very good download manager with multiple connections and better resume support.

IE7 becomes a very respectable browser with IE7Pro. Quite a fair amount of personal preference settings as well.
