I just picked up a Raptor X 150GB HDD at my local BestBuy for $100. The price on the tag said Clearance $115.99, but when they rung it up, it was $99.99. There were several at that price. They must be making way for the new Velociraptors, but IMO a 150GB Raptor X for $99.99 isn't bad. Online, it still shows as $200.99

YMMV

Best buy actually sells computer parts that aren't wal-mart quality?

Edit: Couldn't you just get a 500gb 7200.11 that goes almost the same speed for $100? I may be wrong but I think the new 500gbs are quite nice...

The 7200.11 will actually be faster at sustained transfer speeds but the RaptorX has access time half that of the Barracuda. Raptor's make very good OS drives. The Barracuda is the better storage drive.
