Just seems like there's an overwhelming amount of "meh" feeling for this card. Personally, I agree that single GPUs are better, no micro stuttering, multi monitor support. I was simply stating why I think alot of people don't seem too excited.
Moving from Geforce 7 series to 8 series was so exciting not only because of the huge boost in performance, but also because of the radically new architecture. Moving from G80 to D10U is much less of a change architecturally compared to Geforce 7 to 8 series transition.
Performance improvement of D10U vs G80 is 2x in many instances, which is a huge improvement in performance. Average framerates may not seem super high compared to 9800 GX2 in some cases, but the average framerates are misleading sometimes on the multi-gpu setups because they don't factor in micro-stuttering and very severe framerate fluctuations during gameplay.
I am definitely really excited to see what D10U brings to the table...

Wow, that'd be nice...
Where did this come from?
Found out:
FAKE (http://www.hwupgrade.it/forum/showpost.php?p=22900939&postcount=5451) :headexplode:
even so it has been published here:

What you mean FAKE? that first picture is actually mine i posted here lol :)
EDIT.: oh you mean SLI tests, well from what i can compare with one card, its pretty accurate.
Crysis demo 1920x1200 HIGH .. no AA - Forceware 177.34
Play Time: 43.09s, Average FPS: 46.42
Min FPS: 35.90 at frame 1957, Max FPS: 57.24 at frame 1014
VERY HIGH is tragedy, so i leave it to review with full version :)

Silly question i know: but in the package will they offer 6 pin to 8 pin adapter? or do u have to buy a new PSU as well? i hate to pay more cash just to update mine (Thermaltake 750W who only have 2 6 pins cables)

Exactly .. thats why i currently prefer any single GPU solution over SLI.
because it is the only game that cripples any gpu/cpu system out right now.. duh
you dont say lol

As always take with a grain of salt from the Inq.

I want to see how the GTX 280 performs on the Call of Juarez DirectX 10 benchmark and on the King Kong:Gamer's Edition "Into the Mud" level. Both of those bring my system to it's knees :surrender

Weird is that DX10 fps compared to that table are half, demo is unoptimized, or i dont know what could be wrong.

Perhaps the frame buffer size.
I would like to see benchmarks against the 8800 Ultra & not the 9800GTX.
To spajdr: How high were you able to clock the memory of your card ?

Still testing, but 1500Mhz on shader clock is too much, soon ingame i get chess like green pattern. Looks like though that memory can go higher then 2400Mhz, will test it more.

My asus got this adapter.
Spajdr: What kind of adapter is it? Just a one 6 pins to 8 pins (straight adapter) or two six pins to one 8 pins (y-adapter)?
spajdr, could you download and run GLInfo2? I'd like to see what OpenGL extensions is supported on the GTX 200 series.
