Their tests were done in XP dx9, using HIGH, not very high. Confirmed by the people those were leaked from.

So were mine.... They get 36, I get 26... Still smells fishy...

Hmm.... I get 20ish FPS as well. I thought it was my Dual Core (currently at default clocks 2.4 GHz) that was holding me back. But after looking at your sig I'm not so sure. :(

Stock clocks on my GTX. I get 23 fps with HIGH settings.

Looks like their bench went awry... All Crysis tests are actually at 1280x1024...

http://futuremark.yougamers.com/forum/showpost.php?p=917391&postcount=37

confirmed .. all crysis results are at 1280x1024. for some reason the loading screen loads in the right resolution and then crysis switches back to 1280x1024 for the benchmark ((

Getting closer. I'm at 31.5 fps now. :p I'm guessing throw in a couple extra frames for XP and then their card is OC'ed a little and I can find some truth in the numbers.

Try running at 1280x1024... :)

Run #1- DX9 1280x1024 AA=4x, 64 bit test, Quality: High ~~ Overall Average FPS: 34.585

Add 1fps for the XP "advantage" over Vista... There you go...

But, what resolution were the 2048x1536 tests run at?

that was at 1280 x 1024.

I just checked the COH numbers as well because I already knew for a fact that was BS. even running 1280 x 1024 everything as low as it goes (DX9 as well), but with 4x AA / 16x AF I got 167fps average.

With everything turned up but still DX9, the only number even close to 200 would be the max fps. I think I had like 180 fps for max fps. I'm definitely not believing any of their numbers in there now cause it's all obviously way off.

Damn, what drivers are you running?

175.16

I'm also only using the 1.1 patch and 32 bit exe. Both of those might make a couple of fps difference.

Well, I know for certain that the 64bit exe runs better in a 64bit environment vs the 32bit exe in a 64bit environment, at least in my case. I'd say that's the reason for the game running slower...

Except for the crysis scores...

don't you know the great strenght of this card is playing Crysis...

is brutally fast!!!

even better than GX2... just wait and see, this card has beeing underestimated

and Downplayed... but few days from now some big mouths are going to start shutting...

same happend with G80 GTX & Ultra...

Everyone knows 4870 can't compete with GTX 280 single GPU,

and 4870X2 can be reaaly faster but haves a big issue called "micro stuttering = breaks"

if they can solve the comunications trough the memory than it will become the best card ever

but i doubt... so GTX 280 and nvidia take the crown once again!

Except for the crysis scores...

They are on medium so who cares... DX10 performance is what people should be interested in... Still waiting for a real review here...

Hmm just tested 1680x1050 Medium Crysis and got

Play Time: 26.18s, Average FPS: 76.39
Min FPS: 47.39 at frame 1960, Max FPS: 106.50 at frame 122

so GX2 is really better here.

With AA and with high resolutions GX2 doesn't even haves a chance...

we're in presence of poor drivers too green, but i have no doubt that GTX 280

will obviously completely smoke GX2... give the green team few days.. you'll end up

surprised! don't forget nvidia isn't stupid and they don't sleep this is the real next gen

and they wouldn't launch just some card, underperforming the last top...

GX2 beets in games with multicore support only like COD4 and 3DMARK06

GX2 aren't definitely... where do you see 4 PCB's and HDMI port?

but i have some doubts about being GTX 280 because 280 has a power-status LED near the DVI port nearest to the SLI fingers. I see none.

AAx4 AFx1 at 1600x1200 VERY HIGH 23.9

not bad for green drivers and some filters on
