Hello guys, I have this issue where i get texture tearing or something like that while playing COD4, I have a 9800GX2 and a QX9650 cpu, should be able to play this game on max setting at the capped 91 FPS but for some reason it plays at 46 fps and i get serious lagging and texture issue, I have tried 175.16 to 175.80 drivers and they all have this issue.
Should I reinstall vista 64bit?
Sigh :'(
I've asked the people at XFX but they have never been able to supply me with any useful help so I said i would ask people that actually know something.

Just so people know,
It turns out my CPU overclock was causing the issue,
I had the cpu at 333 * 10.5 and with the vcore at auto,
This booted into vista ok but games wouldnt run well.
set the oc to 333*10 and the isse went away,
Glad you got it sorted out.

LOL
C'mon man!
Make a test, 8h Prime 95 25.6 will eliminate any chance of instability
And... Auto vCore? That's Stock, right?
Try rasing it +0.0125V. Usually, the vDrop is compensated by a small raise in the vCore.

That was done, I had forgotton that i had 10.5 set rather than 10, I must have been playing around with 10.5 for a while. dont remeber why,
I would love to get my 9650 to 4 GHz's, I dont have the skills / patience for overclocking.
