Hi everybody. I'm looking for your advice on the best mobo/cpu/ram combo for the price/ bang for buck. Mainly I just use the pc for games.

Well, you could post what you're running now. But not knowing what you presently have, I could make some educated guesses about what might be good:

Abit NF7-S - ~$125 (includes excellent onboard audio and NIC)

Athlon XP 2400+ - ~$110 runs at 2 GHz, more than enough for today's and tomorrow's games, also overclocks quite well as you can see in my signature. ;)

Corsair XMS RAM - $180 for 2x256 mb sticks. This stuff is about the best in the business.

I was just on newegg and they have the Athlon Barton 2500+ CPU for under $130. You're not going to find a better price on a better processor. The 2500+ is probably the best bang for the buck CPU on the market right now.
