Just so I'm clear on this, what exact process should I follow in order to be able to play Blu-Ray using the latest, non-WHQL drivers? My laptop has a 9700M GT using the x64 175.80 drivers from Asus. I'd like to use the new PhysX drivers but have been holding off because I don't want to lose Blu-Ray functionality.
Should I download official ones and use modded inf from laptopvideo2go via "have disk" method? Will it still work if I use setup.exe method?
Thanks!

The first thing you need to figure out is that you can't use an older version of the nv_disp.inf with these drivers - it will immediately result in PowerDVD issues. What you need to do is learn how to mod the inf yourself so that you can keep the original inf intended for the driver, so that every part of the driver installs correctly.
Most of the pre-modded versions come with an older inf, resulting in HDCP issues. So just remember, google is your friend! ;)
Blu-ray playback working fine here as well.
EDIT: Uploaded a modded inf for you, that should work(remember to replace .doc with .inf before moving it to the 177.26 folder).
What specifically did you change in the inf file to make it work?
