I took that out the box and my Woman spotted it and just gave me that look, I subsequently placed it back in the box and put it away :nono:

So has anyone tried Crysis yet? Can't wait to see the "I gained 8 FPS in Crysis over my single 8800GTX, I could've bought a car with the money I spent..." posts. Sorry guys, but thats just too much money for such a slight upgrade.

Hmm I been hearing rumors about a faster card coming. I wonder how much faster this one will be compared to a GTX 280 @ 670-700.

This card is, in a worst case scenario, a GX2 without disadvantages. MIN frames and overall framerate consistency are much better than with a GX2 though!
Will someone run the DX10 Call of Juarez benchmark already? :screwy:

Crysis:
1920x1200 2xAA, Very High, DX10
GX2 Quad SLI = 23FPS
Single GTX 280 = 18FPS
GTX 280 2-way = 34FPS
GTX 280 3-way = 46FPS
http://nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=114867
It does scale almost as good, you just need to have the cards loaded down.

Now thats odd. Drastically lower performance from newer drivers? Like 18% just off the top of my head.
Did they lower performance of Gx2's via drivers so the GTX 280 looked better, or whats going on there?
Just got done installng my GTX280, tried UT3 and Mass Effect, both are now running very nicely at 1920*1200 with 4xAA, also tried world in confict, performance jump there is very nice indeed over my 8800GTX, I might have to replay it all over again. :)
Will try some other games and overclocking tomorrow,

No. I did those benchmarks a long time ago, it has nothing to do with the new cards.
The 174.74 is the "miracle driver" for Crysis IMO, it was by far the best one and also my best result in the GPU Bench 1 and my config. Very strange!
