View Full Version : Tiger F'N Woods
Wow. I don't regularly follow golf, but I couldn't help myself after hearing about the U.S. Open.
It just doesn't get any more impressive.

Yep, he has revolutionized the way golf is seen as and played today. Credit to the best golfer there has ever been :)

I tried to stay p and watch it but fell asleep. Was on a 2am here, but it was in HD. Looked fantastic and was a great play off. Well the part I saw. ::o:
Yah, we were watching it at work in high-def.
The back 9, we basically all stopped working and gathered around the tele :D No one got back to work till after the last hole was over.
He almost threw it away and then came back with a clutch putt on the 18th :D
I feel sorry for Rocco but a great tournament.

I was watching it all day at work. When something big would happen, everyone in the pit would go crazy. I wanted Rocco to win, but oh well. Hard to do when you're playing against the #1 golfer in the world.

one of the most amazing athletes ever.
I was listening to the radio here and some lesbo Netballer was bagging him out claiming he is not a real athlete because he plays Golf. FFS, shes just sore her sport is only played by butch carpet eaters who earn next to nothing in the process, while Tiger appears charming and is set for life and he worked damn hard for it. Just because you aren't tearing at each other clothes doesn't make Golf any less of a sport, it's a game of skill, where you only have yourself to rely on.

Woods can still kick butt with a busted knee. That places him a league above anyone else that has played the game.
He is already the greatest player to have ever played the game. The record he is chasing of Jack Niklaus' 18 majors is a mere technicality. Golf back then wasn't what golf is today. The competition today is much fiercer and the demands far greater. To be the number one ranked for 500 weeks (almost 10 years - 500/52) is superhuman in my book.

Tiger is sitting out the rest of the year to repair stress fractures in his knee.
