Yeah, I went to order a 280 and the guys at AUSPC told me to wait for the ATI card and see what happens, at 50% the cost I hope it's good. ::D:

Just tried it. Worked ok, good demo. First time Nvidia really told a story like ATi does with Ruby. I guess the was Mad Mod Mike...
Nao plz make nude medusa patch nao kthnxbai.
Nice demo. Runs like ass (10-15 FPS). Still thinking about a couple of 260's but I to am waiting for the ATI cards to be released.
Messing with the facial expressions was kinda funny :D

I tried lowering the res, but it still runs the exact same, hmmm
yeah lowering resolution doesn't do anything so weird ;/

Try raising it then. 3360x2100 @ 60fps perhaps?
1.)TMI. Really. What you and he do is none of our business.
2.)We can barely handle one Q, why in the world would you want 16 of him?

No that only works for Frontlines

Supposedly, you won't get the slow downs on the GTX 260|280 because of the way it handles the real time rendering. We will see.
Didn't run all that bad on my single GTX. I did notice that lowering the resolution or reducing AA didn't seem to improve performance...That's strange.
I'm actually going to run this on a 9600GT, and see what happens :)
I thought this demo looked really poor in the videos I've seen of it. Obviously it's just a tech demo, but the new ATI one looks mind blowing. IMO, ATI has been putting out the better tech demos, ever since that Animusic or whatever one for the 9x00 series, and the entire Ruby series (one of them wasn't great)... ATI just has a crack team of people coding the demos I suppose. :captnkill:
I also wasn't impressed with the graphics of this demo, as I've seen games that, IMO, look better. Maybe it's a good technical feat, but the art direction and use of resources was weak. With that said, I did run it on my 9600GT, 1680x1050, no AA, 16xAF, max quality settings

I notice the message at the end mentions ray-tracing
Very watchable on my gt in 800x600 but not very pretty.
The guys face is good but the rest is meh.

I just plugged in a stock GTX 280. 1680x 4xAA = 26-115FPS no chop or "stutter".
Cool gonna try it on my 8800U!
