Nvidia Medusa tech demo now available

it is available at Nzone here (http://download.nvidia.com/downloads/nZone/nvidia/nzd_MedusaInst.exe).Looks pretty nice to me especially Medusa's transformation near the end.

What's worse is I'm selling my car and I'll have some extra cash,I know I shouldn't crumble as at my 22" res a 280 or two isn't a huge deal, but I dunno. Running everything at 16Q would be nice.

Runs pretty well for Me with an 8800 ultra (175.16 geforce drivers) and Vista X64.

Thanks! :D For some reason it wont run for me (the demo)... I get an error message saying some file cannot be found. Movie worked perfectly. :)

Crap. :p I'm sure it hits 15fps at times. I'm half tempted to put my two 640MB GTSs in here and see how they fare. :o

I saw up to 45FPS with my GTX @ 1680x with 4xAA. I tried it using the 175.16 driver.

Some nVidia demos force vsync so you may want to turn that off in the CP. You should be able to set that from the Medusa short cut too.

If you are having problems getting it to run make sure you have MSV C++ 2005 installed.

Yeah, same message I got, that's why I think it's DX10 only. The message I got was that d3d10.dll couldn't be found. Isn't that a DX10 file or does that just mean it won't run on my WinXP 32bit installation?

What's your fps

Using Fraps with resolution set at 1680X1050 w/4X AA the minimum I saw was 9 FPS ,it was usually between 10-20 when the facial animations were on screen which was most of the time.t
