After a long wait the SP maps have been released.
Maps like Vulcano, Castaway Island, WelcomeToTheJungle, An Assassin's Job 2 and so on.
Just gave Vulcano a go and it's a great map, the attention to detail is phenomenal.

Vulcano is great but it needs more koreans ,and for them to be less dumb.

:DYeah just played Volcano and it is Awesome

More? Heh to me it felt like they never stopped coming! :) Really liked the tunnel part and the lighthouse and submarine(some nice little details there). Didn't like the fact that there was no dialog and the Koreans kept getting stuck everywhere. The Island could also have been a bit smaller - it was too big for such an objective.
The wind in the trees, the attention to detail and the ocean made the map look absolutely stunning.
I'd give it a 3/5! :)
Going to try Last Stand next!
EDIT: Last stand ran like crap, and was buggy.
Couldn't even finish Jungle, nor Operation_Neodym for that matter.
Some events just failed to load...

I was impressed by how well Vulcano ran. Nice mix between visuals and performance. Framerate never dropped to any unreasonable level once. And for such a HUGE map too.
Just today I stumbled upon single player maps and I was about to post. This should be posted in the gaming central forum not buried down here.
Edit: I'm liking vulcano. Do you think it's possible to create a MGS4 Gekko in Crysis mod or map? That would be so awesome.

What difficulty level are you using? I have it at Delta and once I'm spotted I'm dead but I love it. These kinds of maps are better than the game IMO. Spotting targets and deciding how you're going to snuff them out is meat of Crysis fun.
