i dunno the fps i was getting but crysis is completely playable with 1 gtx 280

at 1680x1050, with 8xaa (set in game).. windows xp, dx9 with dx10 tweaks..

and it looks just incredible:captnkill::captnkill::captnkill:

Windows XP FTW! I'll bet you could play Crysis at 1080p in XP with DX10 tweaks.

Vista allows that also. I'm playing Crysis at 1080p with the HP Config and Natural Mod in DX9.
Solid performance across the board, much better than with the GX2!

I've never bothered running Crysis in DX9 in Vista. Are you saying that if I ran it in DX9 in Vista with VH tweaks I'd get a big performance boost?

Compared to DX10 yes, DX9 is faster. But I'm not sure if it's as fast as in XP.

Its only off by a frame or two, I have tested it myself.
