Since the Physics drivers work with CUDA, and CUDA works in my 8600GT, I wonder if I will get any boost managing to get these drivers working lol

This could completely destabilize the functionality of Vantage...After looking at Xtremesystems, the CPU scores now have basically nothing to do with the CPU. If you have a GTX 280 and a 3.6GHz Quad, you will score higher then a 9800 GTX and 4.2GHz Quad in the CPU score, atleast that's what it looks like.

anyone have a proper modded info for vista 64bit? I'm at work right now, can't really go look for one.

Using 177.35 modded inf is not a good idea since PowerDVD BD playback(HDCP) is broken in that driver

CUDA is CUDA, why it wouldn't work with a G8x if it does with a G9x?
The drivers installs, moded inf for myself in the second try, because I thought something in the modded driver in laptopvideo2go could have screwed the PysX support. No progress =/

I can run the demos, but they consume 50% of each core o_O
And there's nothing in the field "PhysX Processor" nor can I select anything in the Settings tab.

Crysis performance is exactly the same with this driver and my settings (1080p, HP Config, Natural Mod).

Vantage improvements are cool:

GTX 280 (177.35 - 615/1350/2214): P11030/15840/10016

Crysis' engine is bugged, for me. It's performance scalig throught resolutions is non-sense lol

no, only 2 applications are supported so far, 3dmark vantage and UT3.

All those other games had Ageia Physx support from start, nvidia probalby need to workout a better way for their new GPU acceleration to take over PPU

probably not

since the nvidia physx driver still seems to install to this directory

C:\Program Files (x86)\AGEIA Technologies

so it should overwrite what ever else you might had there.

i just modded my own inf, not sure if other inf where modded correctly.

just tested mine, it works 100% with Blu-ray PowerDVD playback

I seem to be getting some skipping on them in Mass Effect. Could be just me though as the power here just went out and my HDD seems to be doing stuff, to probably recover from it.

Hmm, my bad installed older verison. Working now, scored almost 40000 in cpu test in 3dmark vantage. :D

Total score with minor overclock on GTX280 was 13500, 2000pt increase from physx driver, not sure about UT3 though, should I have hardware physics enabled? I tried on and off and I really can't tell the difference and the physx maps still are just unplayable.
