177.39 + PhysX driver, German!

Installed them on vista64: 3dmark score is the same as previous drivers. Did I miss to enable something?
Edit: ah doesn't work on 9800gx2. Only on 9800gtx/9800gtx+ and gtx260/280.

I installed 177.39 and the nVidia physics driver. My CPU score did not increase over 177.35. GPU is fine, it's @ 11.3k.

Since installing these here's what I've had with or without the physx enabled or even installed.

Performance is on par with the 177.26, which seems to give me my best framerates.

Poor image quality in games - lack of AA really stands out with these for some reason.
Ran into texture corruption in Crysis.
Could not get Turok to launch a second time using these.
Windows explorer crashes, LoL.
Desktop freezing, ie if start menu is open, it stays, rest of system partially responsive.

After uninstalling, driversweeper and reinstalling 177.26 still had issues.

Sys restore to last savepoint prior to installing the .39s did the trick.

I also tried these with Nekro's inf as well as the original and modded infs.

Guess these are a no go for me.

This is the first time in a long time I've had problems this bad with a driver. Several install attempts, all with the same results.

What card do you have Nekro?

Dummy here was using the wrong PhysX driver. It's working now.

I'm in a dilemma, HD4870 CF with the need for CF-profiles and non functional CF perf. in several titles or go just with one GTX280 and have 100% perf in every game... Or just stay with the GX2 which play's 99% allright. (the stuttering at levelload is not that bad, Crysis AA perf. is)

That's probably because the inf file you're using still has that driver version tagged in it.

The it's not being cleaned. Uninstall from the CP, reboot. Run the driver sweeper @ Guru3d, then install the new ones. I was having issues with 175.xx and up not completely being removed if I didnt do all that.

Update to 1.5.5 or 1.5. Previous versions didn't clean a lot on x64.

I installed lates Physics. I see two options Geforce or Ageia processor. Both are grayed out. I updated my chipset drivers to 15.07 as well as ESA Tools to version 6.02. I'm still on official .16 FW drivers. Can't wait for new set to enable physics :)

Gonna wait for some benchmarks to see how this PhysX driver utilises the GPU first before i allow anything to steal my megahurts!!111

Figured I would try these again, updated driversweeper and ccleaner, thorough scrubbing of registry and so far none of the issues I had before. I haven't benched anything, but so far Crysis is smooth @ 1680x1050, no AA, mix of high and very high settings. IQ is also better than the last attempt. Maybe keepers after all.
