First thread,

So im thinking of building a new rig, im not so new to building my own computers but i know many are more knowledgeable. So i was hoping somebody or a few people would review this system for compatibility of all the parts. I am open to suggestions on other parts this was just where i was starting off to make my perfect machine. I do some gaming moderate to heavy, and a lot of graphics work and rendering. So here goes.

Mobo and processor:

Ram:

Not too sure about HDD setup, wanted 10k rpm drives running in raid 0 because i know its fastest, just not the most reliable.
HDD1:http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2368632&CatId=8
HDD2:http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3255389&Sku=TSD-250AS7

Case: not the most important to me, cooling was my main concern, suggestions more than welcome http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3198497&CatId=1842

PS. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2441945&CatId=2533

Video card, was thinking of running dual, mobo can have up to 4
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3570065&CatId=1558

CD Drive 1:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3571949&CatId=1624

CD Drive 2, probably not necessary:http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3571949&CatId=1624

I do believe thats all the needed bits and pieces, any input at all would be much appreciated.
I think i have a decent system build for under $1200 usd. budget isnt much higher than that, maybe about 200 or so more.

thanks for any help,
Chris

heyyy lets all type in l33t speek cause its super cool! i have read the guides.......i have done a lot of searching......this was the final product.......instead of wasting time typing like you have downs syndrome, maybe some productive responses can be made. and since when does how many posts you have make you more knowledgeable? Everybodys got to start somewhere.

wow no help yet..some of those pages are no longer available. Try newegg.com for most likely lower prices.

That mobo/cpu combo...

THIS ITEM IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE

I'm going to move this to the general hardware forum...

Also, newegg's item URLs usually don't work if you are logged into their site. Try logging out or just typing the names of the items.

well finally got some input in english. i have read a lot of guides but they are always open ended...like pick what you can afford. what processor is recommended, i prefer AMD but i wouldnt be opposed to Intel.

What do you want to do with the PC and how much money do you want to spend?

i was looking for moderate gaming, nothing too intense, but i would like it to keep up with some of the latest games if i decided to. oblivion, stuff like that. i also do a lot of graphics work with photoshop and illustrator. i want to build a powerful pc, thats not going to be out dated by the time i boot it up. ive got a price range of about 1500 usd.

It looks good except I just clicked on the link for MOBO+CPU bundle and it is no longer available.

???

Also, I have found that newegg almost always has cheaper parts and depending on where you live, no tax.
