I've seen people talking about FP16, FP32, blah, blah, blah.... What is it?

FP = floating point number. As opposed to an integer, which can only be a whole number.

FP32 = 32bit per channel (RGBA) = 128bit internal color in shaders.
FP16 = 16bit per channel (RGBA) = 64bit internal color.
