amd 4870 spotted in Hong Kong!

i was checking one of the local hardware store's websites for the latest prices and voila, the 4870 arrived! its manufactured by iCon (a local and crap brand) which has released their 4870 with 512mb of gddr5 ram for 2490HKD, which converts to about 319 USD. :D. no word on the 1gb version yet.

and i can only understand a bit of chinese :o

3d mark means nothing, and I can't seem to get any figures for the games besides dmc4 CS:S (sorta).

I'd say that GPU-Z just can't calculate the GDDR-5 bandwidth properly, it should be double that. If it's 900MHz, then it would be 3600MHz effective. Looks like they have had problems with those 4GHz chips.

he recorded using fraps so the fps is on the top left corner of the screenshot. i havent noticed any crysis or dx10 game benchmarks :confused:
