I have this same CPU on a Gigabyte EP35-DS3L.....almost identical to the DS3R. I have mine at 3.51ghz at 1.35v (1.40 BIOS). I have my FSB VTT at +0.1 and my NB voltage at +0.1. Temps idle in the mid 30s, load in the high 40s low 50s depending on ambient temps.

Put a fan on the Northbridge or get a decent passive cooler.
3.6-7ghz shouldn't be problem.
BTW ,Your CPU temps are very impressive for 1.44v, Mobo@33 ,CPU1@24!!!
Where is your motherboards temp sensor situated? Mines near the memory slots.
If you wanna go higher it might be time to start manually setting some other voltages. If you do, post the available voltage options in your BIOS.

I'll take some pics with the digital camera and post 'em.

Latest bios might not be the best bios for an e6600, Possibly...

Yeah, I've just kept the F2 bios that it came with. There is an updated version on there site, but it only added one thing or whatever, so I didn't mess with it. And I sure as hell won't install a beta bios.

Theres a 3.6ghz e6600 1.45v on the hardforum core2 OC database where theyve used F6
But thats with a D35-DS3P ,if it makes a difference.
I've updated to BIOS F4a. A few minor changes in BIOS Menu, but I know there were probably more changes internally (support added for cpus, etc.). I'll mess around with it tomorrow or so. I'm off to bed now.

I had an E6600 in an MSI P6N SLI Platinum board and just jacked the FSB up until I was at 3.1 ghz. With 2 gigs of patriot DDR2 1066, that was as high as it would remain stable.
