Started doing this today. Stopped after a while. Will continue to test and see if it's a driver issues or GPU issue.

Hmmmm could of been heat but yea keep a eye on it. watch the temps

Definitely dying.. :( Try lowering the clocks a bit and see if that helps.

It's your excuse to get a 4870... Isn't that like 100% performance increase over an 8800GT? :)

May be moving soon to a new place and will have to buy a new car, so new cards and PC parts will have to wait till all is settled down. :)

More updates.

Playing Crysis, with everyone on default speeds, it plays fine for a while, then performance goes from 20-30fps to 8-10fps, so yeah, seems to be dying. :(

Ok, bought an advanced RMA, so at least I won't have to swap out GPUs other than the 8800gt eVGA will send me. Surely don't want to have to use the eVGA 6200 turbo cache again!
