Hello gang, I apologize whether this information has already been processed, I just couldn't find it in that case.

My problem is, I cannot find a confirmation of whether I can use two identical LCD monitors on 6200 LE PCI-e 256MB card, the other connected to VGA port, the other to DVI. Both should run the 1920x1200. Is that possible?

Hardware information as detected by Ubuntu Studio Hardy 8.04 AMD64:

(from Xorg.0.log)

(II) NVIDIA(0): NVIDIA GPU GeForce 6200 LE (NV44) at PCI:1:0:0 (GPU-0)
(--) NVIDIA(0): Memory: 262144 kBytes
(--) NVIDIA(0): VideoBIOS: 05.44.02.62.00
(II) NVIDIA(0): Detected PCI Express Link width: 16X

The reason why I'm asking is that I'd have an option of getting two 24" monitors, capable of aforementioned resolution, and it would rock for having huge apps displayed over a wide desktop.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes you can, it's called DualView, and it can display one big desktop, or 2 cloned ones etc... I don't know about Linux though, I mean how you set it up. The card does have the capability though...

Alright, thanks for the info! Judging from experience, anything X-related under linux will require some tweaking, but I'm used to that. :) All I want to know in advance is whether this card is capable of it, so thank you for the answer!
