The team is happy to announce that the Content License Transfer Tool (also know as the DRM Tool) is now available on Xbox.com. It’s an easy process that has two parts: Transfer your licenses on Xbox.com, then download them manually on your console

Transferring Content Licenses to a New Console

Got a new Xbox 360® console? Great. But maybe you downloaded games or other content from Xbox LIVE® Marketplace onto an older Xbox 360 console, and now you want all that content on your new system. Well, now there's a way to do it.

With the license transfer tool, you can transfer the licenses of all your previously downloaded content from your old console to the new one.

My old licensing:
Console ID Game Licenses Video Licenses
111111111111 11 0
222222222222 7 0
333333333333 8 0
444444444444 43 0
555555555555 267 0

My new Licensing:
Console ID Game Licenses Video Licenses
444444444444 336 0

That was really easy.

Yea I did the thing yesterday, was interesting.

Here's a pic of what it looked like before.

Now all they need to do is let you store more game updates and you'll be able to play games without the net!

That's cool. Kind of like how steam lets you dload on any PC.

Not really. This tool is about consolidating your licenses. AFAIK, Steam doesn't have any kind of serial number type protection, but lots of other PC DRMs do.
