I know I don't post much here in the Home Theater A/V forum, but some questions do come up every now and then. I'm in search for an articular wall mount for my 42" Westy. It's a TX-42F430S and it's VESA compliant. Since it's VESA compliant and it has an 8 hole pattern, 75mm x 75mm VESA aattern, and 100mm x 100mm VESA pattern wall mounts, does this mean that I can use a 37" wall mount with a VESA 100mm x 100mm hole pattern? I was thinking about getting this Rosewill wall mount (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882021045) for my TV (http://www.westinghousedigital.com/details.aspx?itemnum=125).

Will the wall mount fit my TV? (I guess that's how you ask that question lol.). It says it's got a 100mm x 100mm hole pattern. Does it matter if it's a 37" wall mount and my TV is 42" and they both have 100 x 100 hole patterns?

Thanks for any advice that will help,
-Zapa

It comes down to weight, but the difference in the weight of a 37" to a 42" shouldn't matter. It will work.

Sweet. Well, the max load on that wall mount is 70lbs. and my TV weighs 61lbs without the base. I'll go ahead and buy it :D. It's gonna look so cool. HDTV's just look bigger to me when they're wall mounted.

Thanks for the help :D!

I'll post pics when I get it mounted :).

I'm thinking about buying either the G51 speakers to use as a type of low budget Home Theater audio system. If not, I might buy that Bose 3-2-1 thing.
