Has anyone heard about the new SideWinder Mouse (http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/gaming/productdetails.aspx?pid=100)? I recently purchased a desktop set Natural Wireless Ergonomic Keyboard and Mouse 7000 and it's good and all, but I think I need a real gaming mouse.
The reviews seem kinda mixed on the mouse, but leaning more towards the positive.
Any advice would be great!
+1 . . .also Razers

I have the Logitech G9 mouse and Logitech G11 keyboard and have to say it is the best keyboard and mouse combo ive had yet....ive had absolutley zero issues from either and they work flawless in all my games....

I'm partial to Razer mice, but that's 'cuz I'm left-handed and it's hard to find a full-featured mouse that works for lefties (and doesn't cost $texas).

I love my MS Sidewinder. It's the best mouse I've ever used. I've owned all the Logitechs and don't like them. I like Razer a lot and was actually looking for another Razer when I saw the Sidewinder on sale. I don't regret it, in fact I got it for my friend and he loves it.

Ok...so I got the SideWinder Mouse! Damn...I love it! I like being able to switch the DPI on the fly.
In TF2, I use 2000 dpi as sniper when zoomed in and 1600 dpi the rest of the time. I also use 1000 dpi sometimes. My default is 1600 dpi now though. It requires little hand movement and is smooth. Turning off Mouse smoothing in games is a must though. I never really noticed the difference of it on or off, but with it on, it delays it to smooth out the movement, so it must go. I even edited the bioshock.ini and removed mouse smoothing and double mouse buffering. Much better!
