The roster for the first time consists of most of the best players the NBA has to offer. The only thing this year's roster is lacking is size. Not a single 7 footer is in the starting lineup. While not a total killer, if the USA team does not win gold, this will probably be why.

/hopes they don't build the team around aging Jason Kidd, and instead lets Chris Paul be the starting Point Guard.

I would start Boozer over Carmello any day of the week. Carmello probably has more talent, but boozer actually knows how to play team basketball.

usa used to be good enough to be any team playing as individuals but as basketball has grown across the world and other countries play great team ball they can no longer do this, which is why they have struggled recently.

Carmelo has been the USA's best player in the Olympics. They'd be crazy to take him out of the starting 5 with how well he does.

That is true, but then please play him at the 3 and not the 4. Height is already our disadvantage lets not let other teams capitalize too much on it.
