So, I'm planning on building a computer, and I've been doing some research on these cards, but I'm still confused. Some websites say that a triple SLI will mostly be able to run it, while other say that 1 gives them more than enough fps. Could someone clarify for me? Thanks.

Depends on the screen resolution and settings you're using.

I've got two, and crysis runs great using high settings at 1680*1050. Stays in the upper 30s mid 40s most of the time.

19*12 on the other hand causes them to struggle at all high.

it takes one,

since 9800GTX is just slightly slower then 8800GTX, with my 8800GTX i had no problem running the game in DX9 with custom high/very high/medium setting. only shadows/shader and sound was set to medium.

I run Crysis with 1 9800gtx with res of 1680x1050 on high settings. Runs smooth and no FPW dip. Does slow down a bit but no dips.
