Wow the msi gtx280 is $460 after rebate... i'd be pissed if i paid $650 for that during launch day. This is by far the fastest price drop i've ever seen for a new gpu.
It seems like the price drop goes hand in hand with nvidia's stock price ;)

Really tempted at $460 but the 4870X2 is right around the corner(end of July) and feel I should wait for benchies of that for a single card solution.

Holy crap, those prices are MUCH lower than expected.

They said they were dropping the 280 by $90 and the 260 by $40. They dropped the both by over $100. :eek:

MSI usually has low prices (not to say the cards are bad, I wouldn't know), I remember they used to have one of the highest clocked 8800 Ultras (the one SH64 has) for less then most of the stock cards from other brands. Very tempting back in the day...

Another US Business bull****. I would not worry too much about it.

GTX260 and GTX280 are about right now. Like last economy crysis back in 20s. It was artifically caused by group of rich people in US; owners of the Banks and Big Companies to pretty much take the money from people of US and fill in their treasure. I would not be suprised they do something like that again...
