Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising is the sequel to the best soldier sim ever created," says PC Gamer. "It's a game being built to exacting specifications by military obsessives, to simulate the authentic behaviour of battle-hardened troops and push PC's to their limits."

At least they're slightly more believable bullshots than their first bullshots. ;)

Oh don't worry, that's the one thing they WILL have in the real game. :(

Eh honestly... it could be ingame with slight photoshop. I mean it doesn't look that much better then COD4 or Crysis. You can see tons of tricks they used. Most of the flora and trees are the same and there is almost no AF.

Then all they need to do is put some dramatic angles that hide the flaws and there you go.

Look at Toca 3 screens. First one was better... because they were made with photoshop help it's sure that OF2 screens was also edited in photoshop.

Some must teach Codemasters how to use lighting... Dirt, Grid and OF2 have just too much blur and bad colors.

Not saying that they didn't improve some aspects with photoshop but as a whole alot of it could be what the game could look like. If anything I would say the blur, AA and colors were changed with photoshop but the model quality and world is totally doable.

The game will probably look alright, its the gameplay that's gonna make it great though!

Hopefully they can make this run decent. Op Flashpoint was pretty chunky back in the day and ArmA is probably the crappiest running game ever released for PC.

If it uses the same engine as their past games, count me out.

I just realized this one isn't made by Bohemia Interactive.

Hopefully codemasters does a better job with the game engine.

Not made by Bohemia and it uses the Dirt/Grid engine. Surely more optimized by the time its out which either way bodes well regarding perfomance numbers for Grid/Dirt with current/older hardware!

Yeah, GRID's engine is fantastic. Dirt had some pretty serious sound related problems that made the game unplayable for a ton of people, but the changes they made to the engine with Grid make it seem like a completely new engine.

My brother's system couldn't run any of the tracks in Dirt with more than one opponent. It'd stutter and skip and slow down and then speed up... it was terrible. With sound disabled it ran fine. Grid on the other hand runs extremely well all around with no problems. He has an X2 4200+ 2Gb of DDR-500, an 8800GTX and an Xplosion sound card.

"ofp2" doesn't matter. the technology is from bohemia.
I'm sure they are trying to reproduce the spirit of OFP , but it can't be as opened as OFP/Arma.

if you are bored of style-less multiplayer fps , buy Arma.

They put up a CG video as well.

Basically it's them saying "LOOK HOW MUCH WE CAN LIE!"

Games won't look as good as the CG trailer until 2018. :(
