Terrible performance under Vista

Gaming performance is almost halved running under Vista (32-bit) compared to running under XP. Even for an ancient system like mine, surely I should be getting better results than this (?).

Specs in sig. Using forceware 175.16 Vista drivers.

Well besides the obvious question - do you have all correct drivers for motherboard - you should consider if you really need vista. I keep XP SP3 as it is still the best OS for gaming as of now - especially for a SLI system.

I did not have as bad experience as yours when I tried it - but not good enough for switch either - plus lost of 3D hardware sound and lost of horizontal pan mode makes it of no use for game.
