I've got a Dell 1420 laptop with the 8400m GS and am trying to get the fixed aspect scaling to work right. I've got the original Call of Duty and Soldier of Fortune II. I know that in multiplayer, these games do not support widescreen. If these games run at 640x480, 800x600, or 1024x768, the fixed aspect scaling works correctly blowing up the image in the center with black bars on the side (monitor native at 1440x900). But, If i use 1152x864, or try to use 1200x900 (preferable), the image is placed in the upper left corner with my desktop showing on the right and bottom (for the 1152x864) and my desktop shows on the right for the (1200x900). How do I get these resolutions to work properly with the fixed aspect scaling? Has anyone else seen this issue?

Edit: Actually, this happens at 1152x864 and 1200x900 no matter the setting in the Nvidia Control panel for the scaling (happens at nvidia scaling, nvidia scaling with fixed aspect, and do not scale).

Thanks,
Ryan

A simple bump.

Scaling is sadly broken and nvidia isn't looking to fix it.
