Ok, back in the day, I had a Radeon 9800 Pro and it was made by ATI. It seems they don't make the cards anymore, but we have the Sapphire and other brands.

With Nvidia; EVGA, BFG, Asus are all good brands and there are others too.

I just don't know who's "good" in the ATI world. :captnkill:

They are all the same except for warranty. I know VisionTek has lifetime warranty.

Right now they are all the same but this month we will see some 1GB memory versions and some superclocked versions.
The rumors are that some of this cards are going to be at least as fast as the GTX 280 if not than in August the HD 4870x2 sure will do it.

How much more expenisve will the 1gig version be and do we know when its coming out?

With the release of the R700 i'm not even sure if a 1GB version will ever come out.
