Ah so it's a laptop product. :p
Yea, I just tossed the LG GCC-H50L HD-DVD/Blu-Ray drive in my comp so I will always be able to play my HD-DVD's after I replace my A2.
Hmm, no problems with it and your happy with it?
Still waiting for the sub $200 spec 3.0 players.

Why would you want Profile 3.0? It's audio only Blu-ray player.
3.0 also has 2.1 2.0 1.0 specs

There's no Profile 2.1 (assuming you meant Profile 1.1).
Profile 3.0 is going to be seperated Blu-ray audio only player. It will not contain Built-in persistent memory, Local storage capability, Secondary video decoder, Secondary audio decoder, Virtual file system and Internet connection capability.
Profile 3.0 Blu-ray is probably going to replace DVD-Audio players, future car audio decks, etc.

Hmm, no problems with it and your happy with it?No problems yet, although I have only used it a few times. Why? Have people had problems with the drive that I don't know about?

there are few problems reported, but 99% of those problems are related to on board SATA controllers which all SATA optical drives are affected.
I have burner version of that drive, excellent drive
Well, some folks are saying that some BD play while others don't, I don't know if its something with a certain disk or what. They are still over 130.00 range I just don't want to build a machine to have the player give me headaches. I am glad its working good for ya I will keep that in mind when I buy one.
