It seems the latest nforce were pulled for most boards.

I have 3 nforce boards and noticed that the 15 series from last month were pulled for some reason.

I checked for 5 series and there dated 06 and the Vista drivers are dated from march so whats up?

Why were they pulled?

I think they mixed up the drivers which in turned corrupted Raid drives. For me I noticed extra stuttering in Crysis with these so I went back to the old ones...

Good question, Biggun.

I just installed Vista last month and I had gotten the 15.17 from NV. :thumbdwn:

Hmm, that is odd. I didn't have any issues with them on my Nforce 5

But then again I didn't use the raid either.

Well, there pulled for mixing vista and xp code.

I use both os's and both versions of drivers so its a toss up.

I just went with whats on nvidia site today.

I did notice raid takes forever to detect with these bad drivers too so might just do a vista on this rig also and have 5 vistas and 1 XP setup.

Im tired of driver comfusion.

I'm still running pulled nforce drivers under Vista x64 for my i780SLI board. I didn't notice any problems with it

Never had any problems on my nForce4 SLI board, but I wasn't using RAID either, so.

For some reason its been pulled for very important reasons.

I got it running on the 790 and runs good but that rig has Vista on it.

I think its for Xp users.

It has something to do with bad sata raid drivers, the same drivers that were on Windows Update months ago. When I had the 15.17 drivers installed, system would randomly freeze. Event viewer reported nvstor64.sys error - A parity error was detected on \Device\RaidPort1. This seems to only happen to system with bigger harddrives.

Anyways, had to completely remove 15.17 and run driver sweeper to get rid of this problem.

If you're looking for the 15.17 driver, I still have it. I'm running without a hitch.

I've been using them since released under Vista x64 sata raid - no problems.
And they are still available from the nvidia ftp site - no warnings anywhere.
