I'm in the market for a new monitor, specifically a monitor bigger than 22" with an HDMI/DVI output. I saw this Acer (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009125) monitor on newegg and it seems to fit my needs. I want to know if it's possible to hook up my 360 to this monitor and use it to game on. Can this be done? Can I have my 360 and my PC hooked up simultaneously so I when I turn off my PC, I can turn my 360 on without having to unplug anything?

Thanks in Advance
-Zapa

PS- If anyone can find something within the same response time, size, and low price, I'm all eyes.

Ya it should do what you want, the PC can use the DVI input and the 360 can use the HDMI input.

Third review there mentions that user likes using it with his PC and console.

I had a ViewSonic monitor with a DVI and a RGB input. I used the DVI for the PC and the RGB for teh 360, using the Microsoft RGB adapter. What I will say, Zapa, is make sure you get a screen that has a native res the same as the res your 360 can do. My 1680x1050 looked a bit pap with the 360 cos it wouldn't run at that res.

EDIT: Also, I don't think the 360 supports 16:10 ratio screens.

It will do though. Its in the Fall Update to support 16:10 resolutions with 1680x1050 specifically mentioned.

That monitor that I want to get is 1920x1200. It should work with the 360. If it can display 1920x1080 images, I think it should display 19x12 images.

Ah, I didn't know that :). I sold my 360 a few months ago because I never used it.

Does it look like you're playing on an HDTV?
