Posted this in both GTX200 series and 4870 series review thread, but this should deserve a seperate thread.
Where most reviews just test 4 or 5 same games over and over. This review has almost 40+ different games. Really gives a much more detailed picture.

My mother and father are from those countries down there in europe
No SLI tests :(
EDIT:  The Crysis DX9 test is hooooooge!
Wow, HD48xx series does well in FarCry with AA, I bet ATI wish Crysis had the same results.

really wish more reviewers would do reviews like this. I'm sick of seeing the same games over and over being reviewed.

I say best review if you speak Polish. When I look at a review I actually like to read it not just look at the numbers. Since I speak Czech i can understand some Polish, maybe this makes it even more difficult for me trying to understand it completely. Not sure if this deserved third post. About the sticky, sure a good sticky for Polish site. Plus we already have official review sticky for all this cards. So why not just keep it there?

find me a review in English that has 40+ games reviewed? Every single review out there is crap, same games over and over again. what is there to understand? you got name of video card, AA, AF level and resolution is that really that hard.

You better read again what I said and this was not my point. I do prefer to read the review. I also did question if this should become sticky or if it needed to be posted 3 times.
Since when all the reviews become crap? (I mean the not Polish one).
Just about all reviews have more than 4 games you talked about, except the limited HD 4870x2 PREVIEW, you we will see many more games in the real reviews, when NDA is completely lifted.
Anyway you know my point I know yours, end off discussion for me.
Reviews take a lot of time and they generally benchmark recent releases because they put the most strain on systems, plus, the games are current and people want to know how Grid or Crysis runs, not a game from 2-3 years ago. I think most people can come to the conclusion that Source Engine games like Half Life 2 are going to run VERY well on newer cards. I don't mind reviews that do 5-6 games, I don't care about Quake 4 or UT 2004 performance anymore.
With that said, the site is in Polish but all you need to get the point are the numbers. :)

You, my friend, hit the nail on the head. Its call RELEVANT INFORMATION.
No $h!T, that is an awesome review! Eye opener, at times the 4870 is pouncing the GTX 280 depending upon the game. The real realization is that my 8800GTX is powerful enough for virtually any game out there (except Cyrsis at higher settings). No doubt about it, this is the best review I've ever seen and I couldn't even read it :nutkick:

Alot of other reviews need to learn from them MORE TESTS!!!! However, there is only onw flaw with this review and it can lead to misunderstanding the results.
They used custom home grown clocks on the cards. :( That is ok. But they did not include stock clock results. This is, as a result, not representative of a repeatable comparison for the consumer. Not at all. If the reviewer went out and bought another set of cards, they likely will end up with different overclock results again. The "results" (And I use that word lightly) are random in this case. I wish they had included STOCK results as well. The FTW edition is more expensive than other GTX260's as well.
Basically, they went out and bought a hand picked GPU BIN champ GTX260 in the form of the FTW edition from eVGA. This hand picked GPU selected by eVGA is already clocked in such a way that it's faster than a GTX280 and then they .... OVERCLOCKED it. ::p Hahaha.
Then they went out and grabbed a run of the mill Sapphire stock 4870 with a stock cooler and overclocked that. Then they benchmarked them. Hmmm....
So how is that a good representation of a "GTX260" versus "4870". Not really.
What the title should have been is "Compare a grossly overclocked select GTX260 that costs up to $50 more than a stock GTX260 and compare it to a Vanilla 4870 with the best overclock we could muster on a stock cooler" review.
Considering the data when you look at it like that, one must conclude that the 4870 is even more impressive. ;)
But really. That GTX260 FTW sure got a kick ass overclock there. Very impressive card. Spanked it's big brother the 280 even. I would not be ashamed to own one of those bad boys.

WORST BENCHMARKS EVER!
the maximum resolution on the 4870x2 Crysis tests was what?
What was the point of 800x600? who actually plays at that resolution?
If I was in the market for a 4870x2 I'd want to know how the increased memory capacity and speed affects higher resolutions than 1280 x 1024 (if at all).
Is there another page with proper tests?

Interesting, ATi's ROPs are much more efficient -> stable AA performance.
I hope that nVidia does not cut the ROP count in the 55nm GT200.
it would be good when S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky comes out benched with the 280 and x2 as this game needs some power they have up the specs a bit :)
I don't think this type of review is worth the effect to be honest, no stock cards, and old games which even the last generation of cards could handle. Comparing overclocked cards is great but with no reference to stock it's a bit pointless, and lets not forget that no two cards will overclock the the same, you could buy the same cards and review them yourself and get different results. :thumbdwn:
