Ok on our network, when users log in, they get a pop up with a window saying you know, you're on a govt. computer, don't do anything stupid, etc...
Anyways, I'm having a hell of a time trying to modify this or even find what's missing here.
I can go into my group policy on a local network machine into the security settings > local policies > security options and then open up "interactive logon: Message text for users attempting to log on" and when I open it up, I see all the text that users see but it's grayed out and can't be changed.
I need to know what has to be done to change this as it's out of date.
I can haz halp?
Also, I notice that in the group policy editor, every value that has the little two gray (what appears to be servers or computer icons) and a little scroll looking piece of paper, any of those I open, they are all grayed out and can't be changed.
