OMFG Bu, is that an M1 carbine????????

My fiancee's father has an original, WWII Springfield armory M1 Garand. It's an absolute gem. I love the M1's.

At first I thought it was an M1 but then I learned it fires 7.62x39 rounds(AK) not the M1's 7.62x51 cartridge:D
