This slot is meant to be reserved for the Supreme FX II that comes with the Striker 2.

Can you use this slot with an X-Fi Fatal1ty Titanium PCI-e?

I'm asking becuse I'm currently thinking of getting a Striker 2 and having GTX 260 or 280 SLI and using my current XtremeMusic in the middle of them, and later on if I decide to go Tri-SLI I can sell my X-Fi and use the X-Fi PCI-e in the top slot?

Will this work?

I don't see why it wouldn't. But I'm not certain. Have you tried contacting Asus about it?

Hm just saw this from a review:

This slot is intended for the audio daughterboard (there's no audio codec on the motherboard) and can only accept a card that's 17mm longer than its 1x PCI-E connector, precluding the use of a third-party sound card in this slot
