Hey there,

Long time PC gamer, new time console owner.

Just got a 360 pro (premium I think in America). Have a few questions.

I like to go into EB games and buy the cheap old games and second hand stuff.

What's been unmissable so far for the last few years that has not gone to the PC as well?

What's the best driving game? (Forza 2?)

Best fighting?

Best RPG that never came to PC?

Also can you play back Xvid movies on the X-Box 360? I read it has Mpeg 4 compatability.

Can I play them across the network from my main PC rig?

Thanks in advance.

Definitely take a look at these games:

Dead Rising
Crackdown
Halo 3
Project Gotham Racing 4
Kameo
Ace Combat 6

Also there is a demo for all of them except Halo 3. Xvid is supported weather you put a disk in or stream it from the PC.

For RPG - Lost Odyssey. It's awesome game. If you like JRPG that is.

To add to the above:

Forza 2
Rock Band/Guitar Hero II and/or III
Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved (XBOX Live Arcade)
Burnout Revenge (I've never played the newer Paradise but I didn't like the demo -also I don't know if you can get it on PC)
Eternal Sonata
If you've never played Castlevania: Symphony of the Night then you should get that from XBLA as well. Awesome.

I haven't played myself but Battlefield: Bad Company is also supposed to be very good.

Burnout Revenge is old but great still, I like the newer Paradise, the demo doesn't do it justice, a fun game as well.

Also, I really love Grid as well (new racing game). It's a arcade/sim hybrid. Great graphics.

Call of Duty IV, Halo 3, Mass Effect, GTA IV

Guitar Hero Series
Gears of War
Halo 3
Crackdown/GTA:IV
PGR4/Forza 2
Assassin's Creed

tbh, i like COD4 for PC.

looking at his PC specs, he will be much better of playing: CoD, Mass Effect and GRID on PC.

Check out Ghost Recon: Advanced War Fighter... it came out on the PC too but the 360 definitely had the better version (in terms of gameplay IMO).

Dead Rising is lots of fun.

The CoD series was done really good on X360, I preferred it over the PC version.

If your going for second hand games, make sure you get good discs.
360 dvd drive can be very picky depdening on model.
