I just installed my 280GTX Thursday of last week and have only tested the 177.41's and the 177.79's.

I prefer the 177.79's so far. Smooth in games, and the image quality is quite good.

The 179.41 drivers are the slowest drivers for GTX280 SLi. The (177.35 and) 177.79 are the best drivers for GTX280 SLi imho.

Well, I thought the crashes happened only with winamp... They're definitely nvidia related...



I've searched around regarding errors with that file... It used to happen, then Nvidia fixed it. I hope it's not my system. I get it very randomly. Yesterday I got it after 5 minutes then it didn't happen for 6 more hours (i left the game timedemo looping). Totally random...

Edit: Reinstalled drivers, reinstalling Crysis... It might be the game... (I hope).

Just to re-assure people. The problem I experienced was not from the drivers, problem was found and tackled...
