Don't see anything about the downclocking fix...

nekrosoft13

did you install yet?

Lfctony

Not yet, I'm donwloading a 2GB file and have to wait until its done... :(

I just installed them, screw the download. Haven't tried SLI yet, but I can tell that they've made the load detector EXTREMELY sensitive. The card used to drop in speeds when using a simple internet browser. Now, it remains in full 3D speeds as long as the browser is open. Notice open, not maximised... :p

Weird, my guess these are exactly the same

WHQL candidate is nothing more then a beta driver send to MS for testing.

WHQL testing take about a week to complete, so most likely these are the Physx ready drivers that will go WHQL on August 5th.

edit: yap both files are the same

Maybe these drivers will finally get me out of the 169's lol
The 169's are the only drivers that are stable for me

169.35 to be exact

For those interested, the page below shows a Vista x64 WHQL driver, although the link has the word "beta" in it.

It's the international version, off of the Nvidia UK site.

Can someone please verify if DV works with the 9800GX2 and Vista 64? Thanks.

physx working for G80?

no, a geforce driver won't help, you need to wait for new updated physx software

new version of this thing

This is a good set of drivers. They seem stable so far, while offering good performance...

If IE is open, my 280s don't downclock in 2D. If Steam is open, the same no 2D downclock.

ah, damn them lol

I'm not sure of what to expect with physix man, I installed that driver ages ago and the physx software and It would allow me to enable the physx support but It didnt do anything, sure the maps in UTIII loaded but they were really slow, maybe 15 FPS.

Has anyone else seen this?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I installed these drivers last night and so far i think there ok, the weird light glitch i was getting in Crysis is gone now,

I dont see any change in preformance (which can be a good thing)
I will stick with these drivers as you dont need to mod any .INF file.
