the sports channel that i watch most, theScore, recently did a top 10 of the best pound for pound MMA fighters, and i thought it would be kind of cool to have one here. I am trying to find it online, but cant :(

I dont exactly remember their picks, but Fedor was second, and Silva was first. What would be your guys' picks? BTW, I think Fedor is much better then Silva.

I don't know much about Anderson Silva but Fedor is an amazing fighter. He can turn any situation to his advantage.

Silva is the best . . .period. Well, unless you count Butterbean.

Fedor wins... he fights bigger guys and owns their faces off.

Silva drops 30 pounds of waterweight, then after the weigh ins gains it all back and fights guys smaller... not exactly what I think of when I think of pound for pound but whatever.

What ever happened to crocop? He got knocked out with a roundhouse kick then, I don't recall ever see him fighting after that??

i think he lost another match after that. shame, i really liked his style.

Yeah cro cop is pretty awesome to watch.

He lost 2 and won his last one back in March.

Same height as me too. I'm about 155 though. :rofl

He's definitely an intimidating guy. Any time I've seen him in the ring he's usually bigger than his opponent (taller and more ripped). Size doesn't win matches though. :D

That's a great compilation.

Its kind of scary how relentless he is when his opponent falls on the ground. He just starts doing the old hammer fist on their freaking face until the ref pulls him off, or other times he'll sneak in a last second kick to the head.

I wish he fought more often though.

 no kidding

i love how when they fall, he gives them like a second, then kicks to the ribs really fast (he did a couple times).

I'd like to see him fight Fedor but I have a feeling that Fedor would do some crazy submission thing on him rather quickly. They're both awesome fighters but Fedor's skills are just so varied that I don't think Cro Cop would stand a chance, being a long time kick boxer.

Fedor is another animal.
I wonder why so many of the comments on youtube bash UFC, and say thanks to Pride/K1 for saving from UFC.

I'm not really sure what that's all about. I've read a few things about them giving crappy deals to their fighters as if they are nothing without UFC, but I don't know if that's wide spread or not. That's probably where their bad reputation has come from though.

First off, Cro Cop doesn't sound very scary at all. Its kind of funny.

EDIT:

Here is part 2:

holy ****!!!!!
did he split his head open? or was the blood there previously?
wow, what a shot.

I think he probably cut him with this foot.

That happens a lot with Cro Cop. People laying on the ground unconscious with a bleeding gash on the right side of their head.

It looks like he does a lot of really strong left kicks to the abdomen and then uses the same motion to start a head kick, so that the opponent actually starts to block a side kick, leaving their head completely exposed.

Its almost funny how often that has worked for Cro Cop.

Also, his straight left punches are insane. So freaking fast and accurate.
