i have a bad axe 2 motherboard that i'm trying to overclock and no matter how high or low i set the vcore and DIMM voltage it will display it, but won't change it. i have the vcore set to 1.4250 and it's displaying that when i boot into the BIOS but under current voltage it always says 1.3250.

any ideas?

You don't have the BIOS reset jumper in place, do you? Which BIOS are you running?

it's this board to be exact: D975XBX2KR

and i had the jumpers placed so i could go into maitenance mode to disable C1E and watchdog which i've read screw things up. (it didn't work before or after so i know that didn't mess anything up) and i set them back to normal. it won't let you boot if their in the wrong way anyway.

and the bios is 2813 not the new 2831. i'll have to give that a try.

i'm gonna be honest and say this is the worst bios i've ever messed with. i love my abit ip35-pro. it's the easiest thing ever to do. oh well, good thing it's not mine :-P
