As probably many of you (including me) absolutely want to get a GF FX 5900 Ultra the fastest way, I thought it would maybe a good idea to start a thread where everyone can post links to online shops which already offer the nv35.

This way we could compare the different prices and versions of the upcoming 5900 as they pop up on the net.

I know just one webshop which already offers the Gainward 5900:
Komplett.no (http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.asp?action=info&p=35912&t=278&l=2&AvdID=1&CatID=24&GrpID=1&s=pl)
(this link was already posted in another thread on this site)

For my part I'm particularly looking for online shops in Germany.

Thx in advance to everyone for helping those nice 5900s to find their owners :)

$699 you must be kidding me   I can get a radeon9700 pro for like $299, but this is about Nvidia so why not a ti4200 for $99 off ebay

Comp HQ and a few others try to rip people off.
There is no way in hell someone is going to pay 700 for a 499 videocard.

Nvidia should step in on companies trying to do this.
It's BS.

I'm sure they will be many others offering preorders at the correct price. :)

I'm not preordering. I hope to pick up a OEM for 460 or so. ;)

Well, they are offering free, next-afternoon delivery. What's that worth? 175? 180 bucks?

for a gaiward ultra (without watercooling) here in Sweden it costs 866$!

with watercooling it costs 1120$ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

the 9700 pro costs 437$

the prices in this country just plainly suck on computer hardware!

Basically, the wise person would be waiting until the card is more widely available before being a "too-early" adopter.

I'm a fan of high tech and all but forking out over 300 for a vid card seems nuts to me

Heh. Speaking of FX Ultras, I saw a 5200 Ultra at Circuit City the other day for $200.

The funny part was the Radeon 9500 Pro sitting right next to it for $200. ;)

Nvidia is about $150 too high. I don't think they will sell hardly any at that price. I know past history has shown VGA cards to be even $$higher$$ but in todays market prices like that are not supported.

$399 is the limit, so the sooner ATI and Nvidia get down to earth, the sooner the sales numbers will look rosey.

Seems www.komplett.co.uk has it down as bought to order (5 days) for either the Gainward FX5900 or the 3D Blaster FX5900 Ultra.

why? they charge the same price like the competition.
499$ for the 256 MB version, 399 for the 128 MB version.

Yes i realize that, but the 256 versions won't sell until they come down to $399. And they will come down to $399 shortly, as production cost become more efficiant. The 256 meg cards are just a little ahead of their time.

Your in for one! Nvidia cards sell about 3 to 1 for ati cards retail : O Source: Circuit City Employee

I will wager that the 5200 is out selling that 9500 pro,

A. they stoped makeing the 9500 so it inst getting 'restocked' on the shelf (why is it still there?)

Yeah video card prices are getting nut's at least at release.
The ati 9800pro 256 is just over $500 for the lowest price found at pricewatch.

Why does Lynn show the 5900 Ultra with 128mb?
I thought all ultras had 265mb and the difference between the ultra and non ultra was the extra memory?
