Does the Quadro FX 1000/2000 card provide 10 and 12 bit openGL visuals? (specifically in Linux)
Is the glCopyPixels performance better than Quadro XGL series? (which doesn't seem to be hardware accelerated)

We just got a Quadro FX 2000, and here's
what glxinfo says on it. Looks like the
usual 8-bit-per-channel buffers.
(this would be better as an attachment,
but mysteriously that doesn't seem to
work? I browse to point "Attach file"
at a .txt file, get no error report,
but don't see a way to insert attachment
ref into the composed message ...?)

thanks for your help stuartlevy; it's a pity 10-bit/12-bit openGL visuals are still not available on the PC/linux platform.
