Vista Color Corruption Patterns?

I have no idea what this is. Reboots don't make it go away. Since I was able to screenshot it, I assume the problem is not with my graphics card or monitor.

The corruption appears in different places - depending on background and what window is open. Earlier I saw a straight vertical light yellow line in the sidebar area that was vibrating a little bit and seemed to move to the right very slowly. Otherwise the odd color patterns don't move.

Thanks for any help. I put a desktop wallpaper screenshot with a clip of Itunes that has a yellow line through part of the Itunes window.

OK weird but the color corruption is gone and I also don't see it on the screenshots anymore.

Maybe I should run a DOS level memory test. It would seem like certain colors were not the correct ones or something.
