well... im not sure yet, but im thinking about selling my geforcefx 5800 ultra, and maybe buy a 5900 ultra... depending on how much i can get for my geforcefx ultra... im hoping i can get $300... but i really doubt it:(, that may be a little steep... i will wait until the 5900 hits stores to make my final decision though.

5800 ultras are going to be manufactured 100x more once the 5900 is released. Store shelfs will be flooded with 5800 ultras along with 5900's and the rest of the 5xxx family. The retail price of the 5800 is going to be $300. I was gonna say that you could get $200-250 for it but i just thought that 9700pros are gonna be probalby $200 an under next month..If you want to get the most money out of it you prob need to sell it now, or probably end up taking $175 for it june/july

"5800 ultras are going to be manufactured 100x more once the 5900 is released." Ah no. More like it won't be produced anymore at all.

With the pending release of the 5900 Ultras and 5900's, the short lived 5800 Ultra is a product on the way out.

I'd sell that videocard asap.

neg the 5800 is not "going out" its actually gonna be around more than it was before once the 5900 is out.

yeap mainstream would be 5800 Non ultra, you can say bye bye to the ultra... :(
p.s jAkUp if you want to get 300$ then start selling it now because as Headbust said, you won't be able to sell it later on with price tag of a new card (300$).
you best shot is now!

Go and hunt up what the Voodoo5 6000 is bringing down for a pricetag at auction....in about 3 years that sucker is going to be a collectors item due to it's rareness/background/weird-spot-in-viddy-card-history. :)

Otherwise, I agree with everyone else. (WOO-HOO!!! Sub-$200us 9700 Pro's SOOON!!!!! :D )

Radeon 9700 pro's are $299 retail
Dont expect themto go down to $200 anytime soon. Maybe by late 2003 it will drop some.

U can get 300 for it easy.
The Ultra's are rare as hens teeth.
Most are selling new for 440+.

I've seen them going on ebay for 350 or so.
